BACKBEAT is a 5 piece 50s and 60s rock n, roll tribute show that’s based in Co Meath.
With their use of vintage equipment including; double bass , GRETCH guitars and old school valve amps they manage to faithfully recreate that distinctive 60s sound that transformed music as we now know it, giving birth to such iconic artists as ELVIS PRESLEY, CHUCK BERRY, BUDDY HOLLY, EDDIE COCHRAN, ROY ORBISON, THE BEATLES, THE ROLLING STONES, CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL to name but a few!
Having played the pub, club and festival scene over the last number of years BACKBEAT has built up a large and loyal fan base wherever they have played, and following their performance at last summers SWIFT FESTIVAL, were described by THE SUNDAY WORLD as “one of the best bands of their type playing in Ireland today!”
So whether its pub, club, wedding, corporate or any party function BACKBEAT is guaranteed to have them out of their seats bopping and jiving the night away!
